The LPI’s initial campaigning activity seeks to discern the main priority issues facing London and develop long-term solutions in the run up to the London Mayoral and GLA elections on 1st May 2008. In particular, we shall be monitoring whether the Mayoral candidates’ policies pass the LPI “long-term success” test.
However, LPI activity will not cease then. LPI seeks long-term solutions to the capital’s long-term problems; and its campaigning will therefore go on well beyond May 2008.
